1. Agreement
These Terms of Use govern your use of PaperLine, provided by GoldLine Developers. By installing or using PaperLine, you agree to these Terms and the PaperLine Privacy Policy.
2. Service
PaperLine provides document and PDF tools that may include scanning, viewing, creation, merge, split, compression, conversion, OCR, crop, rotate, reorder, watermark, signature, password protection, unlocking, annotation, export, and related utilities.
Features may vary by platform, app version, plan, device capability, language availability, and technical limitations.
3. Eligibility
You must be legally able to agree to these Terms. If you use PaperLine for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for it.
4. Licence and acceptable use
GoldLine Developers grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use PaperLine for lawful personal or business document tasks.
You must not use PaperLine to violate law, privacy, copyright, confidentiality, contracts, or intellectual-property rights; scan, alter, sign, unlock, distribute, or misrepresent documents without authorisation; circumvent app limits, ads, purchase validation, or security controls; reverse engineer or resell the app except where law permits; or create deceptive, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful material.
5. Your documents
You retain your rights in documents and content you process. You are responsible for having permission to access, scan, edit, sign, unlock, store, and share each document; checking output accuracy, page order, formatting, and readability; protecting sensitive records; keeping backups; and complying with legal or organisational retention duties.
PaperLine does not verify ownership, authenticity, authority, or legal effect.
6. PDF security tools
- Use unlock or password-removal functions only on authorised documents.
- PaperLine does not promise recovery of forgotten passwords.
- Security controls may not prevent every form of copying, capture, modification, or attack.
- Share passwords through a separate secure channel.
7. Signatures
Visual signatures or signature images added through PaperLine may not equal certificate-based, regulated, witnessed, or legally qualified electronic signatures. Legal effect depends on jurisdiction, document type, identity verification, consent, and process.
8. OCR and conversion
OCR, translation, compression, conversion, and layout reconstruction may contain errors. Accuracy may be affected by image quality, handwriting, font, language, tables, columns, orientation, encryption, page complexity, and device resources. Verify important outputs before relying on them.
9. Free and Pro
The Free plan may include usage limits, advertisements, and rewarded-ad opportunities. PaperLine Pro is intended to unlock eligible offline premium tools, OCR access where offered, and removal of PaperLine ads, subject to the product description shown at purchase.
A one-time Pro purchase does not automatically include future cloud storage, cloud AI, collaboration, or services with recurring operating costs.
10. Purchases and refunds
Purchases are processed by Google Play and are subject to its terms, payment methods, regional availability, and refund procedures.
- PaperLine Pro is intended as a one-time product, not an auto-renewing subscription.
- Restoration requires the same eligible Google Play account and successful verification.
- Entitlement may be withheld or revoked for refunded, cancelled, fraudulent, unacknowledged, or invalid transactions.
- Refund requests follow Google Play policies and applicable law.
11. Advertising
The Free plan may display third-party advertisements. GoldLine Developers does not control every ad creative or destination. Where required, PaperLine should provide privacy-consent choices.
12. Intellectual property
PaperLine, its design, branding, software, original text, icons, and related materials belong to GoldLine Developers or its licensors. Open-source components remain under their respective licences.
13. Third-party services
PaperLine may rely on Google Play, advertising, crash reporting, OCR, translation, document-provider, and platform services. Those services have their own terms and may change or become unavailable.
14. Availability
PaperLine may be updated, corrected, restricted, discontinued, or changed for safety, compatibility, legal compliance, performance, or sustainability. Every feature is not guaranteed on every device or Android version.
15. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, PaperLine is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free output, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, legal validity, authenticity, or complete security.
PaperLine is not legal, financial, medical, compliance, archival, or cybersecurity advice.
16. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoldLine Developers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive losses, or for loss of data, documents, revenue, opportunity, reputation, or business arising from PaperLine. Nothing excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
17. Claims
Where legally permitted, you are responsible for claims, losses, and expenses arising from unlawful use of PaperLine, your documents, violation of third-party rights, or breach of these Terms.
18. Termination
You may stop using PaperLine at any time. GoldLine Developers may restrict services or entitlements where necessary for fraud prevention, security, law, policy compliance, or material breach. Files stored on your device remain under your control.
19. Governing terms
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer protection laws, any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
20. Changes
These Terms may be updated when features, plans, providers, legal requirements, or business practices change. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
